  • WHO IS A TITLE INSURANCE?

    A voluntary lien place on a property in order to finance the purchase of real estate. A mortgage is issued by a lender, and it is recorded in the public record as a priority lien to repossess the property should the mortgage borrower fail to meet the terms of the loan agreement.
